Frida Kahlo was born on July 6th, 1907 in Coyoacán, Mexico City, Mexico. She passed on July 13th, 1954.

She is known for her many self-portraits and works inspired by nature and Mexican artifacts. She follows a more surreal art style that explores the unconscious mind and dreams as she follows and represents the most dramatic moments in her life through her art.
